Multipurpose Hall Redesign
This old multipurpose hall had to be rebuild because of unacceptable sound conditions. New advanced requirements was:
- increasing amount of seats , buy building huge balcony,
- certain reverberation time, clarity and etc.
Main aim was to improve sound quality of Hall while increased amount of seats
So that project involves all our ideas and creative thinking ability, while we tried to keep budget at affordable low level.
Solution
Changing ceiling surfaces and geometry to control Reverberation Time and Early reflection coloration for all group of seats.

Description
This Philharmonic Hall in old Siberia city Irkutsk, has wonderful story but actually has certain problem with acoustic 'cause it was build for different purpose(not a concert hall) as meeting place. Especially after changing wooden seats on soft textile it become more muffled, but keep same problem with low end resonance and unclarity. Last time it used more and more for reinforced performances with PA, and we have developed the solution to control this resonances. But main idea is to make an orchestra sounding much clearer, brighter and hearable on every seat in hall.
Solution
The concept of correction is based on avalable work in the hall. It could not be changed because it is kepped by the low of historical monument of city. So we develope special set of acoustic diffuser/resonance panles which can be easealy mounted and unmounted on stage, side walls, and ceiling ( above the stage area).
Size 700 sq.m.
Realization
It is in stage of searching the budget for reconstruction of acoustic of the hall.
